The Ride

I ride in the morning, noon, evening and night,

I ride so fast, I feel like an eagle taking flight.

I ride in the bright warm sunlight,

I ride in the soft pale moonlight.

I ride free and I ride strong,

I ride without worries all the day long.

I ride with a great sense of pride,

I ride alongside the wild mustangs on the mountain side.

I ride through the hot deserts that are all around,

I ride and my horse’s hooves do not make a sound.

I ride through the clouds in heaven above,

I ride around the world with a great sense of peace, just like the white dove.

I ride and circle the clouds with ease,

I ride through the giant, magnificent redwood trees.

I ride across the waves in a sea that is sapphire blue,

I ride all day and night to be next to you.

I ride along beaches with sand so fine and pure,

I ride next to fishing boats as they cast out their lure.

I ride in your thoughts and in your dreams,

I ride with a passion and I ride with ease,

I ride forever, or so it seems…

I ride across the icy plains to see the northern lights,

I ride up the steepest mountains to the highest heights.

I ride for eternity with God by my side,

I ride; I ride until I am out of sight…
